Winter Puzzle Finale

This will be the last puzzle I complete this Winter.

This one has oversized pieces which makes it a lot easier than the last one.

Spring is coming and there will be projects starting around our country bungalow!

Sunset last night. When driving through town last evening we were so surprised to see that gas prices have gone up over a dollar here in one weeks time. Yikes.

Time to work on our schedules to make our drives into town worth it.

Gnomes…

My disappearing Gnomes. Very soon they will be quite visible again as our snow is slowly melting.

My Sounders Soccer Gnome gets special treatment and he has a spot indoors till Spring when Soccer season starts up again.

I’m also considering some little travels for this special guy…

Well I think I’ve had my limit of staying home because of snow. I’m a little stir crazy. We are having some very gusty winds today and that always makes me wonder if we’ll keep our power. If you don’t see me around or hear from me you can conclude that we are in the dark. Hope the lights are shining bright where you are. There’s always the source of light who never loses power and I hope to let His light shine in my heart!

Yard Art ~ Yuba City & Home

The Gnomes and Dove are from our Aunt’s house in Yuba City, California.

The butterfly and wood art are from a walk in the neighborhood here in Washington.

To play along or to see more Yard Art on Thursday visit Mary at Work of the Poet.

Photobucket replaced all my photos with ugly black and grey boxes and they are holding my photos hostage until I pay them lots of money. I’m slowly going through all my posts and trying to clean them up and replacing some photos. Such a bother.

I’ve Got Yard Art!

I’ve been threatening my family for years about adding some yard art to our landscape…and I use landscape loosely here because our yard is in no way landscaped. It’s kind of like the inside of my house which is in no way professionally decorated! Hodge Podge is a better way to describe it…eclectic. Working with what you have and adding something here and there.

I saw these little guys at Fred Meyer and they were on sale so I bought them and stuck them in the planter along our front walkway. So my family has Yard Art Thursday and Mary to thank for finally pushing me over the edge with a purchase of my own Gnomes!!

Hmmm…upon close inspection of these Gnomes I’m struck with how they resemble my paternal grandfather except for his beard was redish…

Thanks for hosting Yard Art on Thursday Mary!
