Friday August 7th
On Fridays my posts will include verses that stood out in my readings from the Bible during the week. One, two, three or maybe more. If you have a verse/verses that you read during the week and would like to share, leave it/them in the comments and I will add it/them to the post. Let’s continue to dig deep into God’s truth.

Hebrews 13:20-21
Now may the God of peace who brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, the great shepherd of the sheep, by the blood of the eternal covenant, equip you with everything good that you may do his will, working in us that which is pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen.

Thank you, Ellen. Hebrews 13:20-21 is such a beautiful benediction and a wonderful reminder that God doesn’t just call us to do His will, He also equips us for it. I love that encouragement.
One verse that stood out to me this week was Psalm 18:32 (ESV): “the God who equipped me with strength and made my way blameless.” It ties in so well with your passage from Hebrews. What a comfort to know that the same God who raised our Lord Jesus from the dead is still at work in us today, giving us everything we need to serve Him faithfully.
