My latest puzzle endeavor has been quite the challenge. The shapes of the pieces are a challenge and the coloring is a challenge.
Parts of the frame of this puzzle just slide together and don’t interlock.
I will have a great sense of accomplishment if I persevere to the end.
The positive thing about this puzzle is that it was brand new and sealed at Goodwill for $4.99.
The other positive thing is that I do enjoy owls. Only 5 owls to go and I’ll be finished.
I can listen to good podcasts as I find the next connecting piece.
Today we are going to the annual Awana Grand Prix. It’s always fun to see all the creative entries and then to see how our Grands’ cars do in the race.

Oh, my goodness, Ellen! That looks very challenging. I understand what you are saying about how things are just sliding together. The last puzzle we did was like that and it is a challenge because the pieces don’t interlock. You can do this, my friend.

That’s a great looking puzzle. I used to do puzzles all the time. Haven’t done one in years. I do love the owls.

This is a beautiful puzzle! I can see what a challenge is must have be to complete. Do you save puzzles like this in some way when they are finished?
Not usually, Pat, I just break it up and put it back in the box. For this one I will put the all the edges in a separate plastic bag since they were a challenge.
