Colville Catch-Up

It’s time to share some happenings right here in our neck of the woods. We had a Big foot sighting in early November.

Our Colville family all together on a beautiful fall day.

At our Country Bungalow we had our Monday fun time with JJ.  He enjoyed some time with marbles before our outdoor time pulling and running down weeds with his big wheel.

On their mountain both Addy and JJ had a time to climb up to the tree stand and see a different perspective of their property. Both were very brave.

On Saturday we enjoyed Addy’s Basketball game time in town.

While we were sleeping on Saturday into Sunday our higher elevations got a nice dusting of snow. Nothing stuck to the roads or lower elevations.

I took the photos on the way to our church service. On the 17th we had our first Sunday with two services. Our sanctuary has been overflowing so this was our only option for now. We gathered at the 8:30 am service. Our second service starts at 11 am. In between we have Sunday School. It will take a little time getting used to this new schedule.

Hope you all have a good week ahead.

  1. Beautiful photos of the snow! Your grandchildren are so cute. Our church has traditional worship at 8:30 and 11:00 with Sunday School in between and we also have a more contemporary family service at 9:00 and a more contemporary service at 10:45. We are land-locked so in order to accomodate all of the people, this is the only solution.

  2. Oh my goodness, Ellen – that really does look like a Sasquatch! I admire that the grands were brave enough to climb that tree stand! We drove back from a concert in Calgary yesterday, and it was quite windy/wintery. Overnight we got a dusting of snow – more to come later this week! Bring it on!

  3. Is that YOUR photo of Big Foot?? Wow!

No snow here yet. The weather report says we might get some Thursday night. I wouldn’t mind if the weatherman is wrong. Willow

  4. This is a very realiostic looking Big Foot! I did a double take!

I heard your area may get a “Bomb cyclone: storm and then it will travel west towards us for Thanskgiving. Let’s hope the storm won’t be as bad as they say!

Both of your grandcjhildren are growing so fast! I know it’s wonderful to be able to spend so much quality time with them.

  5. Fun to see a “Bigfoot” on your travels. Your grandchildren are growing up so quickly, just like ours! I hope the Bomb Cyclone didn’t affect you too much.
