If you can go outside the city walls, towards Bootham in a NW direction, you’ll find lots of beautiful buildings on the main road. Mainly Georgian I think. And don’t miss the Merchant Adventurers’ Hall!

Love it. My great great grandfather on my fathers side came from york. He worked as a tailor. You are certainly having a great trip. B x
