That’s so nice! We haven’t seen as many in our backyard this summer. We usually see them when the apples come out on our tree out back but I am Not sure we will get any this year because it was so dry and we don’t know how to prune it.
Lisa, when we had an apple tree on the western side of the state we pruned all the shoots that went straight up. That seemed to be a good pruning method. Our shoulders got a beating, though. 🙂
Oh that’s good to know! These trees were here when we moved here and we didn’t even realize they were fruit trees until last year! Whoops! Hopefully we can take better care of them from now on.
…neat. I have dinner guests in my garden too!
They are so sweet, love the fawns. Take care, have a happy weekend.

I love that you get to see them. So cute!
I agree, love when they come visiting.
They are so darling, Ellen. Do they eat your plants and flowers. I have friends that have that issue.
Martha Ellen, there are some plants and flowers that they eat. When I see them at my favorites, I shoo them off. 🙂
Beautiful yard art!
Nature often provides excellent entertainment. Fawns are very cute.
Gorgeous photos and they must be such fun to watch. B x
