The deer are coming around again to nibble and rest in the shade in our back yard. They are welcome as long as they stay away from my clematis.
This male was interested in the female and was chasing her so they didn’t stop to nibble on my clematis.
Here is some evidence of our Spring showers from this past weekend. While I’m typing the dark clouds have moved in again and we have thunder and lightning.

…I haven’t seem the deer in our yard, but I see the results of their visits. They think that my garden is a salad bar.
The deer are so pretty, We have been seeing some on the trail around our home. Love the photos. Take care, enjoy your day!
How beautiful! Hugs and blessings.
Love the deer and hope they eat only the weeds from your garden. Or more realistically, that at least they stay away from all your special plants!! … Our daughter is telling me that we’re not missing a beautiful Spring this year — she says things are slow and when they do bloom often getting “rained out” .. I guess we were lucky last year when we spent the year at home in that it was a dry spring and all the flowers I miss down here bloomed perfectly! (On the other hand of course, dry Springs are not good for the drought-ridden Pacific Northwest, as you know. )
I love when the deer come to visit. We see them most days. Mama just brought her baby around a little bit ago.
I love deer just as my mom once did! We used to see them on occasion here, but with new developments nearby haven’t seen one for awhile 😦 Love your pix today! Oh—wanted to thank you for a saying you posted awhile back. It’s the one about the God of reality being bigger than the God of our imagination. I found so much meaning in that truth that I put as a daily reminder in my phone’s calendar. I have done the same with other truths you’ve posted…TY!
Happy to hear that it resonated with you. I’ve got to remind myself of that, too. And you are very welcome. Thank you for letting me know. 🙂
Those big trees are fantastic!
We are very thankful for our views here!
