Deck the halls with boughs of holly,
For unto us a Child is born,
Unto us a Son is given;
And the government will be upon His shoulder.
And His name will be called
Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
Isaiah 9:6
There are a few other spots in our home that are decorated for Christmas but I failed to take photos of them. It’s always fun to ‘Deck the Halls’.
Today I’m happy to say I’m headed to the Post Office in town to mail off our Christmas Greetings for 2021. Next up is considering what to bake and when to wrap.
Fly away little letter, keep the bond of friendship strong,
may the Lord lead and guide you, and keep you from all wrong.
I love all of your decorations! You also have some beautiful antique pieces of furniture.
Thank you, Lisa.
It always fills me with so much joy when I decorate for Christmas. I love the little Christmas tree with the matrushki. Is that new.
Vera, It’s not new it was part of a liquor store Christmas promotion deal with a airplane bottle of vodka inside it. Got it years ago while Washington State still had state liquor stores.
…it beginning t look a lot like Christmas in your home.
Everything looks festive and bright. The grands must enjoy it all so much.
There’s something extra cozy about those bright decorations with snow out your doors and windows.
Decked indeed!!!!!!!!!!! Thank you for taking us on a tour!
Your home looks very festive with all Christmas decorations.
Wow – I love it all! So festive.
Hello,
So pretty and festive. I love the tree and the banners. Have a happy weekend!
Just wonderful…Xoxo.
Ellen, your house is joyful! So many pretty touches . . . and I especially love your nativities!
I, too, completed my Christmas cards today and, whew, what a feeling of accomplishment!
Your home is festive and welcoming. I sent off most cards last week, and still have a couple more to mail.
I would love to walk from one spot to the next in your home to admire the decor in every nook and corner!
I guess this will have to do.
