When Uncle Joshie and Auntie Lolo come to town we have lots of great photos to share. Auntie Lolo knows how to capture the moments.
Saturday June 5th. Time to feed the chickens and check out the garden.
Take in the view before bedtime. Josh had to fly home on Sunday but Auntie Lolo is staying on till Friday.
Today Tuesday June 8th I’ll have my consult about my cataract surgery coming up soon. I should know after my appointment when my procedure will take place. I’m looking forward to better eyesight in the near future.
Hope all goes well at your consultation. More lovely photos of your gorgeous grand children. Bet they love feeding the hens. B x
Barbara, thank you!
…cataract surgery will change your life.
Tom, looking forward to that improved eyesight!
Seeing the little guy on his tractor, I have to share my Great Grandson birthday tractor story. He got on it and took off down the sidewalk, stoped and told his Mom, “ Mommy I don’t see a farm”. They live in the city, he has not seen a real farm. But he has Great Grandparents that will take him to one. Your grands are so blessed to have you.
Love the pictures.
Love that connection your Great Grandson has with a tractor and a farm. So cute!
I notice that Laura is often the taker of the selfies too, which I think is a skill all its own. (Maybe because I am so terrible at it!) Laura captured some great moments with the children! I am sure that they love having her and their Uncle Josh visiting. They seem like such a fun aunt and uncle!
Cheryl, Laura is the queen of selfies for sure. We have grown pretty dependent on her and her photo skills. They are a loving and caring uncle and auntie.
There’s something about a farm with chickens and tractors that capture a kids fancy.
Hi Ellen,
Such great pictures of the grands with their aunt and uncle! 🙂 They really are cuties, Ellen. Are the chickens yours? They’re a handsome bunch. 😀 I always enjoyed going to the poultry house at our local fall fair. Good luck with your consultation; that surgery goes very quickly. I took my mother-in-law for her surgery several years ago, and she said it was amazingly fast. Our parents have all had it, and they were very pleased with the results. Have a great week, my friend!!
Hugs,
Denise
Hi Denise, the chickens belong to our son and daughter-in-law and grands. Thanks for your encouragement.
I have worn glasses since childhood , my eyesight is rubbish. After cataract surgery on my right eye I have 20/20 vision!!! I know! Unbelievable I can see with that eye without glasses. Can’t wait for the other eye to be done. I’m from B.C. so our wait times are horrendous.
Hope you can get scheduled soon! Glad to hear how well your one eye is doing. That’s encouraging.
Cute photos of your grandchildren and family. It seems more bloggers I follow have been having the cataract surgery lately.
Love that first picture. His expression is priceless.
Your grands have very special aunts and uncles. It must give you joy to see the kids help each other out.
