Today is Friday August 28th and the Word for today is Law.
Psalm 19: 7-9
The law of the LORD is perfect, reviving the soul; the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple; the precepts of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart; the commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes; the fear the of LORD is clean, enduring forever; the rules of the LORD are true, and righteous altogether.
From my sister Vera:
“Therefore there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and of death. For what the Law could not do, weak as it was through the flesh, God did: sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and as an offering for sin, He condemned sin in the flesh, so that the requirement of the Law might be fulfilled in us, who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.”
Romans 8:1-4 NASB
From Maristella:
So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets.
Matthew 7:12 | NIV.
From Happy One:
John 1:7 KJV
For the LAW was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.
If you have a verse or verses to share please leave them in the comments and I’ll copy them here.
Happy Friday! Enjoy your day, have a great weekend!
…Ellen, I hope that you will enjoy this day!

Wonderful verses Vera!
Another good verse!
Only a few more days to go. I’ve sure enjoyed this challenge.

Matthew 7:12 | NIV.
Hugs and blessings.
Beautiful verse, Maristella. Thank you very much.
More to be desired are they than gold! Sweeter than the honey and the honeycomb. There was a song we used to sing many years ago using the words from that Psalm. Blessings!
We remember that song well.
