August Bible Verse Challenge ~ Womb

Monday August 24th and our word is Womb. I’m thinking the verses with the word womb in them might be fewer than most of the words I picked. I’ll be back a little later with mine but please feel free to share your verse or verses in the comments and I’ll add them here.

Hope you all have a great last full week of August!

Psalm 139:13-14 (ESV)

For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made.

From Rosella:

“Did not he that made me in the womb make him? and did not one fashion us in the womb?”
Job 31:15

From Happy One:

Jeremiah 1:5 KJV

Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee:
and before thou camest forth out of the WOMB I sanctified thee,
and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.

This was the birth announcement we sent out to friends and family when our first babe/son was born forty or more years ago. Dear did the calligraphy for each announcement. We chose Psalm 139:14 as the perfect words for this gift from God. Our prayers and desires for our children have always been that they would know the One who formed them wonderfully and have a very healthy fear of God Almighty.

Hope you all have a great day!

  1. Sometimes I just like the KJV! How awesome to think He knew me and had a purpose for me even before I was born …

“Did not he that made me in the womb make him? and did not one fashion us in the womb?”
    Job 31:15
