Saturday the 22nd of August and our word today is branch/branches.
Psalm 104:10-13 (ESV)
10 You make springs gush forth in the valleys;
they flow between the hills;
11 they give drink to every beast of the field;
the wild donkeys quench their thirst.
12 Beside them the birds of the heavens dwell;
they sing among the branches.
13 From your lofty abode you water the mountains;
the earth is satisfied with the fruit of your work.
From Maristella:
“I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.”John 15:5/NIV.
From Happy One:
Jeremiah 23:5 KJV
Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, that I will raise unto David a righteous BRANCH, and a King shall reign and prosper, and shall execute judgement and justice in the earth.
If you have a verse to share please add it in the comments and I’ll copy it here.
And our resident umbrella bat returned.
Have a nice Saturday!
…keep looking up!
Hello, Ellen
I love the Flickers, they are beautiful birds. The bats may not be welcomed under the umbrella, but they are important to have around, they eat bugs and pollinate plants. Take care, happy weekend!

Have a blessed weekend!
I hope that the bat under your patio umbrella is not making that his permanent home! 😳
Great photo to go along with branches today.
Love the collage of your feathered friends there. Not quite so excited about the bat though, even if they are good for pollination and eating bugs. I would rather listen to the humming of the honey bees. Thank you very much!
Hi Gloria, thanks for your visit and comment. Hope you have a good week ahead.
