Anyone out there know what kind of duck this is?
We also saw many prairie dogs.
They were so fast and it seemed like they were stealing from each other’s nests.
Hope you see some sunshine today. We have had periods of rain with a few sun breaks.
We took this walk on the Rotary trail on Saturday the 9th of May.

I believe it is a wood duck. They are amazing but I have never seen one in person. I love getting to be a part of your world over there. What a gift having you share.

That duck looks like a Cinnamon Teal (Breading Male). Here’s where I found the info.

I just love the killdeer when they run along the ground. Look like little road runners!!
