So much has happened in 7 days and I’ll start a little catch-up by going back to last Sunday and our time at the local Corn Maze and Pumpkin Patch. While the guys were hunting the gals and JJ made a visit to the Corn Maze and Pumpkin Patch. Lots of photos and few words. Did I mention…lots of photos?! I’ll start with the Corn Maze and then add another post about the Pumpkin Patch.
Katie is the best maze navigator and Addy was interested in hearing her instructions as to where we should go.
We stopped at each marker we found and put up the appropriate number of fingers.
Along the way in the maze they gave you easy ways to exit if you needed an easy out.
We made it to station #8 and at this point Addy wanted to be carried which made it a little more difficult to soldier on so we took the next Easy Out we spotted and headed to the Pumpkin Patch.
JJ was content and contemplative about the whole experience.
We are making a slow transition back to life as normal after our trip to California for the amazing conference we attended. I hope to catch up with all your blogs early this new week. As happens frequently when traveling, we are experiencing an attack on our health from being confined in airplanes and rooms with many people who are spreading their germs and illnesses with the rest of humanity.
Hope the tornado warnings in the Dallas area were without injury to anyone. We were happy to hear our family members were okay and got the all clear. Praying October ends well for y’all.

…now, that’s my idea of a barn!
Hello, the corn maze looks like a fun time. Cute photos of the gals and JJ. Enjoy your day, have a happy new week!
I was glad to see the sign “easy out” – I was getting a little panicky just looking at the height of that corn! (Isn’t having grands the best!!)
Fun, fun, FUN!

Oh what fun you must have had. Love photos of all the family. B x
Corn mazes are so much fun.
There is one every year up the road from us but we didn’t go this year.
I did almost get lost in a natural corn field maze finding out where the deer were going on one of my morning walks.
I do hope you are feeling better soon, Ellen. We seem to catch something on our travels as well. My hubby takes Airborne and feels it helps to ward off problems.
Corn mazes are challenging, even with the easy out. Great fun for all of you. Happy photos of happy times.
What a fun day and those grands of yours crack me up with their darling expressions. Happy children indeed! Loving aunties, sweet mama, and wonderful grandmother enjoying a day with them = perfect!
Looks like you all had a great time. What fun but no corn maze for me.

The maze is very tall! Looks like fun with the family! We have one of those puzzle places here abouts, but that one there looks super.
Precious photos of memorable times spent together. I pray you two begin to feel better soon.
You forgot someone!!!! ME, what a great outing, amazing family memories being made, Ellen! Your grandchildren are so adorable!
Hope you both feel better soon, when my oldest son visited us last, after 24 hrs. here he came down with the flu, told of sitting next to a passenger whom he thought was so sick that they needed to be in the hospital. ~grin~, Guess who caught the bug from him?
Thanks for visiting, have a great week.
Blessings,
Sue
Oh that face! JJ is adorable. Love the pics.
