Tuesdays With Moisi Video

Our brother Steve recorded this YouTube video of our pop (Moisi) giving the Christmas 2012 blessing at their Christmas Eve meal. My mom seemed to be prophetic in stating this might be the last Christmas. She died in September of 2013 on her and our pop’s 70th wedding anniversary, September 13, 2013. You’ve been reading Moisi’s life story in his own words and I thought it would be nice for you to hear him, too. Moisi was 89 at the time of this video taken in Nuevo, California.

  1. What a treasure, Ellen! I loved listening to your father’s thankful heart…and seeing your sweet mother. I was so blessed by the one at the end that thanked Mosi for his example. That brought the tears that were already gathered in my eyes streaming down the face.

  2. How wonderful to have this lasting memory, dear Ellen! How poignant that your dear Mother left on her anniversary. A legacy to love. xx Karen

  3. Ellen – what a wonderful memory to have. To see and hear your father even after he has gone Home. I wish I had a piece of my Dad such as this! Thank you for sharing with all of us!!!

  4. Oh, Ellen. This brought tears. One thing that I am struck by is your Pop’s heart of gratitude! Over and over, he declares how much he is thankful! God had given him so many gifts, but he did not take them for granted. He was obviously grateful for these gifts.

What a blessing to have this recording. What a blessing to have your rich heritage!

  6. Your parents were and are just adorable. I started to count how many times your dad expresses his gratitude and lost count. What a testimony! This video must bless the entire family. You’ll never forget their love for their family.

  7. What a wonderful heritage given to you, Ellen, I can tell by your sharing, of how you are cherishing it, . I think in todays society, so much of this is slipping away.
I so enjoyed reading this, thank you for sharing.
    Blessings,
    Sue
