This little munchkin got to spend some time with Baba and Gramps on Monday because these two…
… had things to do without the help of a toddler.
Addy is learning the lay of the land at Baba and Gramps’ house.
Having no skid socks makes running on the tile floors safer.
We had a lot of fun playing with the helium balloon, bouncy balls, the rocking horse, and a stethoscope. We made sure the dollies got their shoes back on. I’ll have to take a photo of where Addy likes to store those dolls besides Katie’s cradle.
My views today after we got another dusting of snow in the night.
We are expecting rain soon that will melt a lot of this away. Hopefully enough to melt the solid pack of ice underneath.
Today is a good day to stay in and make a big pot of Borsch.
She is so sweet and the photos of your family are smile bringers for sure. What a lovely day you must have had. We are expecting snow this weekend. Not sure how much.
Hi Denise, thank you for commenting here. I hope your company can still come to your home if it snows.
Non skid socks! Who knew. Our grandkids slid all over the place on our wood floors. Not safe at all. I miss the days of having toddlers, It makes me nostalgic to see pics of Addy. Enjoy every second of it.
Thank you, I know these stages will just fly by so I’m trying to enjoy it all.
I can’t believe how she has grown! What a sweetie she is.
Hello Barbara, This stage of life is so full of changes.
…ah, the pitter patter of little feet.
🙂
I made a batch of cabbage soup today (the all-you-can-eat kind). Winter weather has finally arrived here in Kentucky. Your new home is lovely and I hope you are enjoying your new area. I’m sure Addy has helped make the adjustment a lot easier.
Thank you Elaine. We are enjoying our time here. It still feels a little surreal. Enjoy your Kentucky winter! It really is the weather for soup!
She is so cute and full of expressions. And busy! Do you find that a nap is in order after your time together? I used to find that when the grands were younger; oddly enough, now that they are older, I don’t find myself so worn out. It seems to me that Addy enjoys your home and knows her way around well.
Vee, If I was a nap person I’d definitely take them after running around, getting up and down with Addy. I’ll miss these stages but I know I’ll enjoy the elementary years and beyond!
Lots of “new” for you during this season. You have a new home in a new place with new weather patterns! Having Addy nearby is new too! I am sure that she enjoys her time with you and your hubby. Oh . . . and a new grandson coming soon!
Cheryl, everything is so new it’s not real yet. It’s good and we are thankful.
Ellen, your new home is just lovely…and it looks as if Addy agrees. 🙂
Thank you, Dianna!
Ellen, I can’t believe how fast Addy is growing up! Nonskid socks is a great idea for tile floors. Love your kitchen!
Hello Jean, Thank you for visiting here. 🙂
You’re having a lot of fun looking after sweet Addy when her parents have something important to do. We’ve looked after five of our grandchildren, the other one living too far away at the time. It was satisfying for me and I was glad I was available to look after the young ones and see them develop. Enjoy those happy times together.
Happy times for all three generations! Brings back memories!
Wow! Addy sure has grown up! I remember the excitement when she was just born! And a new little brother on the way too, so exciting! I’m sure these toddler years are both exciting and exhausting! Love those skid-free socks! We are having the same weather here, lots of fog/rain and a little bit of snow mixed in with some ice. It’s been an interesting winter! I did get to cross-country ski once. That was SO much fun. Your new home looks lovely, and oh, I love your new look to your blog space too 🙂 Blessings and hugs!
She is sooo adorable..and the snow looks sooo cold…:)
Addy is SO cute. Isn’t it just so wonderful to have her nearby and able to “keep” her for the day. She looks very happy to be there with you. I am thankful to the Lord for this experience every single day and look forward to each time my little Noa and her baby brother come over! We are truly blessed Ellen!
Ellen – you have joy inside and outside of your house! I am sure the Borsch was delicious if it was made by your talented hands!
