From Afar…

…enjoyment through photos. These are photos our kids took (Laura) while spending time together in snowy Colville. I loved seeing the fun in the snow and happy faces from this side of the mountains where rain persists with no snow.

I think she likes her ride.

Hey mom, why can’t I move my legs?!

Our first born with his love.

Our second born with his favorite girls.

Our youngest with her love.

All of our favorites in one photo! Thankful for each one of them.

Awesome mama and our little delightful granddaughter.

The snow angel!

The early morning snow warriors.

I’m a grateful mom and baba for this time our kids had together. Addy got re-acquainted with her aunts and uncles. Now I’m praying for safe journeys home for Josh, Laura, Andrew and Katie.

Meanwhile back at the ranch (this old house) and at Mennonite Girls Can Cook I posted a One-skillet steak meal for two. Enjoy.

Happy President’s Day!

  1. Every person in your beautiful family is so photogenic! I love that they all enjoy and have fun together!! Our Spokane company left late this afternoon … they were going home to sub zero (with the windchill) and lots of snow. I think if it hadn’t been for missing their dogs they might have just thrown over their jobs and stayed here in the sunshine and warmth.

  2. Ellen – you are truly blessed. I pray every day that our kids will find a love that will last a lifetime. And of course, any post with pictures of Addy is a blessing to us all!

  3. Oh, I loved seeing all of these pictures! It is quite evident that everyone had a wonderful time! Addy is growing up so quickly! Thank you, Ellen, for sharing your family with us.

  4. I’m always pleased when our children get together and enjoy each other’s company. These are lovely photos of siblings and families. Addy is such a cute little thing.
