Fort Langley historical mural in Gasoline Alley ~ Fort Langley, British Columbia
Artist listed as Brandon Gabriel ~ Paint on concrete block
Colorful mural displays various native heritage scenes and the arrival of settlers to the area.
Dear and I visited the historic area of Fort Langley, British Columbia on July 19th and enjoyed a walk-about the town and some shopping.
This weekend has been very full with our second born and his wife of one year here. I have not had time to be on the internet as we are enjoying face to face time with all of our kids. We also received very sad news that I will share soon. We are rejoicing and we are grieving all at the same time.
I will link up later to Monday Mural with Oakland Daily Photo.

I enjoyed your photos very much. What a lovely place to stroll/shop. We have recently moved and I have been away from the blog. Catching up with you tonight. God bless you and yours.
I am glad that you are enjoying time together with all of your children, even amidst sad news. So much of life is like that, isn’t it? Rejoicing mingled with weeping?
I am sure that the mural is a vast improvement over concrete blocks. Glad that you heard the sad news while your family was all together. Somehow, being with family lightens the burden.
Wonderful mural. God bless your time with loved ones.
Beautiful murals! I’m about to post a few pics of a mural I saw in Shelton, wa. this weekend!
I like Fort Langley, and if I get an early enough ferry will often stop there when I am heading for work in the Valley. The little shops are fun to poke around in.
Wishing you continued good times with your children and comfort as you face what sounds like hard news.
The mural photos are lovely and so glad you could visit Canada again. I’m so glad you could have your kids with you this weekend! Thinking of you!
I live not far from Fort Langley and I do not remember seeing those murals. I must have been too focused on the little shops.
Love how art brightens our world even in such simple places. I just discovered a new mural by our library done on cement block. I enjoyed reading about the new book launch and understand now a bit more of the history of the Mennonite Girls. The new book looks wonderful.
