This first gate is from the Briscoe Western Art Museum the rest of the gates and fences are from Mission San Jose in San Antonio, Texas.
I will be sharing a full post on Mission San Jose soon.

Another sunny stretch here in the Seattle area. I hope May isn’t stealing our summer this year. Today I have to give our lawn a haircut and fill the larders. What are you up to?

Hello, beautiful collection of fences and gates. Happy Thursday, enjoy your day!
Wow, I had no idea San Antonio had so many gorgeous, artful, places! And the light! Makes me want to go there!
Hi Ellen! I love the arched wooden fences. We are having our floors done so we have to tip toe around and be semi-organized (VERY HARD for Pom Pom). I have to drive downtown to the dentist today. I have dental nervousness. Oh well. The sun is shining here, too. It isn’t so warm though. I do hope it isn’t May stealing your summer. I really do!
Very impressive gates & railings there, Ellen!
I love the brick arch in the last photo!
Hope you have a great day!
Loved your fences today. That southwestern style of fencing is very appealing.
Nice! What a beautiful courtyard, something we can’t have here in the frozen north (well, in the winter, that is).
both gates are beautiful! love the mission photos!
Ellen, lovely gates!
So beautiful Ellen! Love them all and look forward to seeing more of Mission.
love that gate in the first pic. Oh and I bet the mission is a wonderful place to explore
Love seeing missions. Love the architecture.
I’ve been outdoors a lot today in anticipation of a freeze tonight and possible snow/cold this weekend.
It’s beautifully sunny up here too – such a long stretch of lovely weather. I like those fences, especially the iron ones.
Perfect city to find beautiful fences and gates!
