We have lots of fun celebrations this month and we started last night going out to dinner for our DIL Laura’s birthday. After dinner at a new restaurant in our neighboring town we popped over to Katie and Andrew’s apartment for cake and presents. It was fun to see Katie’s creative tree on the wall since they won’t be buying a real one this year. On Monday we had a fun shopping day in Snohomish with Katie and that’s where the photo of her by the Snohomish River was taken.
I’m still working on getting all the decorations up for Christmas. Thursday we have a dinner here with our small group.
I’m having a hard time keeping up with blogs right now so I won’t be joining memes until I am sure I can get around and comment.
Life is rich! Hope all is well in your neck of the woods!
Hi Ellen!!! The glimpses of Katie’s apartment look very cozy. I love her tree too. Fun times for sure at your end. Blessings to you and yours.
It is a busy time of year…especially when you have a birthday (or two or three) added to the mix! Looks like Laura’s birthday was celebrated in style. I’m sure that your gathering on Thursday night will be lovely too. Don’t worry about getting around to blogs…we all do what we can when we can. No pressure! 🙂
Thanksgiving, combined with birthdays ( we have that too ) and the fast approaching Christmas celebrations make for very busy times. Very precious times ! Enjoy them, relish them, celebrate them without qualms regarding blogging, etc. These times are far more worthy of your time and in reality, of far more value to what matters in your lives. Happy & Merry Christmas to you all.
You know how to celebrate! Love Katie’s tree…complete with skirt!
Happy birthday to your daughter-in-law! Love Katie’s imaginative tree 🙂
Busy times here, too ,Ellen. I am just beginning to decorate for Christmas,–we bought our tree today! At least I completed all my Christmas shopping and just have to wrap them. Then the baking marathon begins! Enjoy this joyous and holy season!
