If you click on this link you can read about this “exact replica of this Hereford Bull” that was donated to the city.
From Hereford and Ross-on-Wye we traveled East to spend a night in Henley-on-Thames and then our two last nights in Windsor, England. I’m working hard on wrapping up the posts of our wonderful time in Jolly Old England.

What a lovely town! You took some great pictures.
These pictures look so peaceful…..except the big guy in the last 2:) I’m going to go and read about this replica. Those wee ducklings are much cuter.
Beautiful shots of the bridge, so lovely. Fun cow statue and those swans and their babies were just delightful.
Such an awesome bridge…so much history. And the duck family is waay cute.
Lovely shot of that bridge! I love that part of Herefordshire. (Actually, I like every part of Herefordshire I’ve seen.) 🙂
Beautiful City! When I first saw the bull, I thought it looked like an Angus bull because it’s “black” and not the red/white of a Hereford. But he does look Hereford in other ways. He’s polled, not horned like the traditional Hereford either. I’m a little bummed that he doesn’t look just like the Herefords of old. Here’s a link that shows some UK Herefords. At the bottom is an old style version of Hereford — short, meaty, and horned. http://www.herefordbreeder.net/countries/england/ We still raised horned Herefords, but we take the horns off now at birth.
Those baby swans are so cute!
