A few weeks ago I was on an airplane flying out of Seattle and I was treated to some lofty views of downtown Seattle, Mount Rainier and the Columbia River.
The Columbia river where it divides the State of Washington from Oregon.
This Saturday flight on September 13th was a nice flight and time to have a window seat. I most always choose an aisle seat.

Reading this feminded me of an article I read recently written by a flight attendant. When asked what the river is, she always responds with “Mississippi.” Ha! She’d not get away with that in your corner. That’s a nice photo of the plane’s shadow.
Lofty views are what I’m after when I fly so I almost always choose the window seat. I love looking down at all the wonderful patterns – natural as well as man-made.

Very lofty! In this case a window seat is preferable to an aisle seat, which I choose on long flights. Great to be home and find your beautiful bathroom!

Love the plane’s shadow!
I love the shadow plane on the runway. I always prefer the window seat and enjoyed your views. My partner doesn’t like take off so there is never a fight over who going to look out of the window!
