Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Roslyn, Washington.
Roslyn is that city made famous for the T.V. series called Northern Exposure. We enjoyed a little road trip there. It’s just off of I-90 going over the Cascade Mountain range in Washington State. Since I referenced Northern Exposure here’s a photo from Roslyn that you will recognize.
Thank you to Beth and Sally for hosting InSPIREd Sunday. Click on over to see some pretty church spires from around the world.
Wow! We’ve had five Sundays in August this year. It’s labor day weekend so of course we are laboring. How about you?

Great photos Ellen! I love the look of older churches…
I loved to watch Northern Exposure! And, now I know how Roslyn came to be a part of it. This is a lovely little church. It looks well cared for.
The church is lovely and thanks for sharing. Northern Exposure is one of my all time favorites. I was so disappointed when the show ended. Years ago I bought a photo of the Roslyn Cafe sign. Tom The BackroadsTraveller
Beautiful little country church. Loved the Blue stained glass windows and of course the Roslyn Café sign.
While I love the European cathedrals, I also love the simplicity of many American churches. That stain glass window of the cross and the crown above — that is definitely quilting material there. :o)
what a gorgeous day & this church is just amazing! ( :
