It’s been a while since I’ve been able to photograph sea birds.
I was so happy to see this Pelican.
This Heron was fun to see, too. A Blue Heron in a spot I don’t usually see them.
These were not the birds I was excited to see. But there they were all in a line begging to be photographed. They were some of the fattest pigeons I’ve seen in a while.
We are home safe and sound. It’s always good to come home. We enjoyed being in the bright sunshine for a few days but “there’s no place like home”.
Home…the best place to roost!
No place like home – true, indeed!
Be it ever so humble…there’s no place like home…it’s true! Nice pictures of feathered friends. I always feel a sense of awe when I spot a heron, they are so mysterious!
I loved the photo of the blue heron! Awesome pic!
I know what you mean about home – you know I often quote Winnie the Pooh – “Home is the comfiest place to be.”
Wow. You captured all birds so very well. I have never seen a heron at the top of a tree either until now.
Wow, that was a funny sight that heron perched on top of that tree and I didn’t recognize the pigeons as pigeons right away…they were FAT little birds. Glad you could venture out and find some sun for a bit.
Good to know you had a safe trip. Those birds are beautiful.
I can’t believe the birds (especially pelicans) will fly where you can photograph them. It’s not fair 🙂
Sp glad you had a good time! The birds seemed to be enjoying themselves as well. 🙂
