2011 in review

The WordPress.com stats helper monkeys prepared a 2011 annual report for this blog.

Here’s an excerpt:

The Louvre Museum has 8.5 million visitors per year. This blog was viewed about 160,000 times in 2011. If it were an exhibit at the Louvre Museum, it would take about 7 days for that many people to see it.

  1. Wow, that is totally amazing. You have been one busy person almost posting daily. Way to go and I wish you more posting material as you share life with all of us.We visited the Louvre Mueseum. Had no clue how we would ever get through it in one afternoon. It’s huge…but we managed to see some of the more famous artists.

  2. That was really cool. You WordPress bloggers must feel very appreciated. Such fun little tidbits are shared that I’m glad you added it to your blog for record keeping’s sake.

  3. That is so fun!! I had no idea they would do this for you! Makes me wonder what my stats would be.
I agree with Vee…it’s great to be added to your blog.

  4. Ellen…..that is amazing! so many fun things I learn from all you long term dedicated and oh so interesting and fun bloggers.

  5. So fun! And guess what? I was at the Louve one year ago today…and only spent a few hours. Interesting as it was…I’ll likely never go back. As for your blog…I keep returning…time and time again! I like that there are no line-ups…and no visiting hours! Smile.
