Warning!

If you are hungry step away from this post!

Dear, Katie and I had a food tasting for Katie and Andrew’s wedding on Monday. They said to come hungry and I’m so glad we did. Go grab a snack before you scroll through these photos…

We’re going to be served all these items plus cake!

The three of us were able to narrow down all these fabulous choices for the menu that will be served at the wedding. We considered having something that gluten, lactose and meat intolerant people could eat, too. Katie has to talk to Andrew before the final decision about the flavor of the cutting cake is determined.

We’ve had some good rain and wind today. How about you? Hope your week is starting off well.

Speaking of food…I posted my asparagus casserole (twist on the green bean casserole) at MGCC today. Click over and enjoy…

  1. Now that looks like fun. It all looks very tasty and attractive.

We had our third day of above average temps. It has been glorious.

  2. Oh my goodness – it is mouth-watering! All that? I don’t know if the Ward Room has a tasting at all, but I’ll be asking…..

  3. Food as jewels! I wish restaurants would offer “shot” sized foods like what you were served…I always want to have a taste of everything on the menu.
The wedding feast will obviously be far beyond amazing.

  4. It’s a good thing it’s lunch time here 🙂 yummy!! I’m hungry!

I never heard of a tasting menu – hopefully they’ll come in style here before Sarah ties the knot!

  5. I see the beautiful display and my thoughts go to how much fun it must have been to take those pictures! Ha ha. I bet it was fun to eat too. That sliced beef looks so good as does everything… its beautiful!

  6. What a variety to choose from! However can you choose? I’m sure it tasted as good as it looks. I love the presentation of the gazpacho and shrimp – I think I’ll try that idea as an appie sometime.
Whatever you decide to serve, I can see your guests will be well fed and very happy!

  7. So glad you weren’t alone…with all that tasting and choosing! You did a fine job of your food photography. I think you are having way too much fun…planning this wedding!
