…to pick the worst weather days of the week to head out on a road trip to Oregon.

No worries because we are sure to drown our weather sorrows eating lovely plates of food like these.
If you don’t see anything new around here or don’t see comments from me on your posts you’ll know why. As usual I’m not guaranteeing you won’t see anything new here. It all depends on wi-fi and down time in a hotel room.
Have a fun and lovely time — can’t wait for pictures because I know you always take good ones. š
oh no!! the food will ALWAYS make it better!
OH I do hope you have windows of sunshine in the otherwise bleak forecast! Sometimes we can be surprised in a nice way.
In the meantime. .enjoy your time alone and all that yummy food.
I’m praying the weather breaks and or rains only during the nights. Bring out some good weather for their trip God….shine down on them no matter the weather. Bring joy and refreshment to them both and watch over them as they travel, bringing them home safely. AMEN
Oregon is so beautiful – have a wonderful time and don’t let the weather deter you from walks on the beach – it’s lovely in the rain and fog too!
You are right…whatever the weather we can always enjoy the food! Have a fabulous time along the coast.
I have heard the Oregon folk had their few summer like days the same time Washington did. Oh well, the food and fun will make the days feel sunny anyway, right?
Enjoy my home state! I hope you like each place you visit.
Have a safe trip Ellen B! Food…such a lovely way to drown weather sorrows. I’m sure your spirit will be lifted in no time š

No matter the weather – a road trip is always a welcome treat. And the food! My goodness, you two sure know how to pick the good restaurants.
Have a wonderful time and take lots of pictures so those of us who have to stay home can experience your trip as well.
Have a wonderful time!
Awww – hope the weather clears for you!! But anyway, I know you’ll enjoy great food and good company along the way!
Glad you didn’t pick NY for your get away! That would have been the pits!
It is my son’s vacation week…no power, no water out here. No fun!
