It’s not very often that I end up in a photo because I’m usually the one snapping away. The third weekend in July my bloggy friend Jill came to spend a few days with us. In the course of our sight seeing in Seattle and at the Lavender Festival in Sequim she had her camera clicking even more than mine was clicking. I borrowed some of the photos she took and created the following mosaics…
I’ll start with a mosaic featuring the photographer Jill and photos she took of our daughter Katie. I took the photo of Jill and Katie.

On Jill’s last night with us we prepared dinner at home. Dear barbecued Sockeye Salmon and I roasted vegetables and tossed a salad. The bartender was in the kitchen shaking up some nice cocktails for us, too.

Thanks Jill for sharing your photos with me.

Isn’t that great when someone else takes as many pictures as you do. You end up with a perfect record of your guest’s visit. Looks like such a fun time with Jill and it made for great mosaics as well.
How fun to meet up with a bloggy friend 🙂 It’s nice to be with people who aren’t weirded out when you pull out your camera. And I love those great smiles in your photo of Jill and Katie.
Jill knows how to have some fun! It’s wonderful to have photos of yourself for your family so what a nice thing that Jill took some and very nice ones, too. I enjoyed reading about the get-together at Jill’s blog and here so it’s nice to read more about it and see more of you. It’s pretty bad when we’re even invisible on our own blogs!
Sounds like a great and fun time with your blogging friend. I would love to go to the lavender festival. Your photos are great. Have a great week!
It looks like you had a wonderful time with your friend. Wonderful memories and photos to add to your scrapbook. V
What a delight to meet a blogging friend. Looks like you had a wonderful visit. Take care and enjoy the week.
Meeting blog friends has been a big perk. I never realized that we would make so many real friends through blogging. This looked like a very fun visit!
You did a great job with your photos, Ellen !
Looks like y’all had a fun time ! I’m glad Katie could join you too !
Great photos! You are beautiful and have a lovely family! The lavender is gorgeous, too! ♥
Those were such beautiful mosaics – so full of colour and action. It’s good to see you on your blog once and a while, thought I’ll bet there’s a certain young marine who loves the fact that he can go to your blog and see beautiful photos of his beloved!
That under the bridge dude is BIZARRE…I didn’t notice before that he was one eyed. And what is the pretty drink?
That’s our resident troll under the bridge and that’s an actual volkswagon he has his hand on…
The pink drink is called a Kensington Dream. I have a post that has the recipe for it…
It looked like you both had a fabulous time getting together. Lovely photos!
REally grand pics…All seemed to have a wonderful time!!! Wishing you a grand week!
Looks like you had a wonderful time with your friend. I love the troll under the bridge and the lavender festival. I can almost smell the lavender! Have a delightful week.
Looks like some bloggers had a good time living it up…Wow,
Thinking about Katie….I read about that service banner that hangs in your window…What a pleasant reminder of someone you all love.
What a great mosaic! Looks like you had fun! Make new friends, but keep the old! 🙂

Nice to see that you got in some pictures!
Jeepers, you made my shots look even better via doing a mosaic.
It sure helps when the photo subjects are so lovely….
(Bartender…another round please!)
It’s neat to see your lavender farm visits from Jill’s perspective! 🙂
