Early snow for us in the Seattle area. Snow in the Seattle area is always a surprise, this early snow is doubly so. My hummingbird feeder has a nice layer on it. I watched as a poor little hummer tried to find the feeder source. So sad! I’ll have to run out there and knock the snow off!
To see more Ruby Tuesday visit Mary at Work of the Poet.
And in late breaking news: Katie made it on an earlier flight then her original one out of Seattle on Monday afternoon and thankfully so or else she would have missed her connecting flight in San Jose. Her 4:00 flight finally departed at 6:11. This will still put her into San Jose in time for her connection. We are so fortunate and thankful to God for watching over her and us as we drove her to the airport. Snow has a way of paralyzing people and the roads in Seattle!
Photobucket replaced all my photos with ugly black and grey boxes and they are holding my photos hostage until I pay them lots of money. I’m slowly going through all my posts and trying to clean them up and replacing some photos. Such a bother.
Snow? Wow. The red feeder does cheer up the otherwise too early whites and dark greens!
Isn’t it a wee bit early for snow in the temperate area west of the Cascades? A little bit of snow can be so disruptive…glad the connection was made!
Snowing already wahhhh, I am not looking forward to it..
Gorgeous!
Laughter for RT
Beautiful capture. I can see the red feeder. 🙂
Mine’s here.
What a great pair of photos…tho, I have grown to dislike living in a snowy area of the States, I do like to view photos of the white stuff….that bird feeder is just the right touch of red!!! Excellent.
My RT…homegrown pomegranates
Do stop by to say “Hi” when you can!!
Great composition. The birds probably aren’t thrilled about a frozen dinner though. Happy RT.
I’m glad all went well
Snow does disrupt things
But it is so pretty – as your photo shows 🙂
What a great photo! I didn’t realize hummers stayed around in this kind of weather.
snow already? wow! the red feeder looks even prettier with the snow. 😉 happy travels to all.
Beautiful photo! Poor hummer..do they stay all winter?
Happy that Katie got all her connections.
Just a perfect amount of red in the snow, ellen! Happy Ruby Tuesday! 🙂
Love the red against the snow and the tree.
Snow doesn’t slow people down around here which is the opposite problem. They still drive like it’s totally dry outside. Some people just don’t slow down for anything.
It’s beautiful if you can stay inside. Hope Katie made it safely into welcoming arms.
Lovely shots – that touch of red from your feeder is priceless!
That is too early to have snow. Here in MI the weather man said we are going to have it this Thanksgiving day hmmmm will see. Poor hummingbird I thought they migrate in Winter time.
