…Always A Major Event Around Here!
Woke up to this scene looking out my stairwell window.
The welcome mat
Our front walk with just enough snow not to bother shoveling.
I like the new snow blooms!
What are we in for:
Sitting at home avoiding the icy roads and spin outs.
Canceling any appointments.
Hours and hours of weather news on all our major channels.
Overeating- I don’t know why it just happens.
Spiking stuff like eggnog, etc.
Talking about the snow to anyone we see.
Pulling out all the wool and boots and gloves!
Hoping that our power does not go out.
Have a good day y’all. You know where you can find me.
I’m linking up to Susan’s Outdoor Wednesday.
Photobucket replaced all my photos with ugly black and grey boxes and they are holding my photos hostage until I pay them lots of money. I’m slowly going through all my posts and trying to clean them up and replacing some photos. Such a bother.
Please let it stay till tomorrow!!
Beautiful!
That is a lot of snow, Ellen. Love your fun predictions about what ensues because of the snow.
Believe it or not, it’s still a bit warm at my end….
Enjoy your snowed in Thanksgiving! 🙂
Hi from phoenix airport, where we wait to fly to San Diego, leaving blizzard hit Slc. Secretly I would have liked to have stayed nestled in to see the mighty snow storm. Have an eggnog for me!
Yummy white snow! Love it and wish we could have it. happy ww
Nothing like a good storm – even a wee one! Glad that Katie made her connections!
They are hinting at snow in our area in the next couple of days. There’s too much to do to be snow-bound. Actually, it doesn’t usually snow much here (Ohio) in November.
Happy Thanksgiving! La
Wow! Love it! Enjoy……….
Snow is pretty to look at but not if you have to get out in it. We do not get it much here and I am glad. I like the warmer days.
It’s also winter wonderland in our part of the world… 😦
That’s just a smattering, girl! You can come and help me shovel. We’ve been shoveling since last Tuesday! :v)
Seeing all those white, make me feel cold! Hmmm, warm cozy fireplace and lots of hot cocoa…
Stay warm and Happy Thanksgiving!
I’m jealous! It got up into the 70’s in Alabama today!

I wish it would snow over here at Christmas but it is hot and sunny in Australia!
Stay warm!
Best wishes,
Natasha.
Having a snow days creates a holiday!! Jim just called me and asked if the hot chocolate was ready! 🙂 He’s on his way home to a warm fire sizzling in the woodstove and weather television watching! I’ve already eaten my way through the day!
Great pictures of the snow blooms! 🙂 I can see the pink in the sky on the first photo…so pretty!
oh my! it looks so wintery and pretty too! Quite different from our weather here..a sunny day as I look out of my window.
Love the snow!! We are suppose to get some tomorrow… just in time for Thanksgiving.

WOW!! Beautiful sight.
Beautiful! However – Do Not send it in my direction! 😀
Hoping for a milder Winter this year.
Happy Thanksgiving.
I liked your pictures of the beautiful snow….we were in the awful I-5 traffic jam…..12 hours from Olympia to Everett. We were never so glad to be home. Kathy
Oh Kathy! That sounds like quite a nightmare. I was wondering and praying for you..
So glad you are home!!!

Your snow days don’t sound like too great a hardship…what with eating, eggnog and quality time with those who matter most! Enjoy.
Welcome to winter! I love the “snow blooms” too! How cute!
BBBRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!
Beautiful winter pictures!
so it’s your turn to get the white stuff… nice atmosphere for Thanksgiving!
Looks like a little more than a dusting. Very pretty pictures, of course I’m in Florida and not in the middle of it. Have a great day.
It is beautiful stuff, that snow! Enjoy your Thanksgiving Day. Blessings to you and yours.
BRRRR, just looking at the photos makes me shiver.. I will be making snowmen next month. as I will be flying home for the holidays. I’m very excited that my daughter will see snow for the first time (which she will be aware of what it is)
