If You Steal…

…them from family is it really stealing? I right clicked on these photos my niece took while they were visiting us here in the Northwest. Thank you niece!

Dear is making his famous Swedish Pancakes for the crowd below and they were all very happy to eat them! And yes we serve them with sour cream and syrup!

Family time at Qwest Field for Seattle Sounders Soccer! Ole Ole Ole Ole!!

Our sweet little Soccer Fan!

Our beautiful daughter!

Dear and me enjoying dinner out with the family.

Photobucket replaced all my photos with ugly black and grey boxes and they are holding my photos hostage until I pay them lots of money. I’m slowly going through all my posts and trying to clean them up and replacing some photos. Such a bother.

  1. What? No lingonberries for the Swedish pancakes? Oh, Dear has been away from his Motherland too long! (You do know that IKEA sell the lingonberry sauce/jam, right? We go through that stuff like crazy.)

    • Jill! Dear has been influenced by his Russian wife so Sweden has met Russia with the addition of sour cream and berry syrup. I’ll have to be nice and get some lingonberry soon :0)

  2. The first comment took the words from my mouth! What a lovely family blog post this was. Have a great trip south for that graduation – I’ll add your marine to my prayers – he’ll be right there by my brother who is in the work up to Afghanistan.

  3. Fun, fun, fun…oh how I wish Kansas City had an Ikea. I think our favorite preserves come from Central California….Linn’s Fruit Bin, http://www.linnsfruitbin.com/…..they have these amazing Olallieberry products. I’m looking forward to being able to order from them again some day. Really yummy.

  4. Hello Ellen B!!!

Um, I don’t think that if the pictures belonged to family it’s stealing…just keeping it all in the family ;-). your Dear’s pancakes look divine!!! What type of griddle is he using, I think I want one ;-).

Ooh, thanks for the complement!! I’m playing around with my blog and trying new things.

    See you soon 😉

    xoxo cori g.

  5. Swedish Pancakes . . . does Dear Husband share his recipes? LMK
I would sure like to try these VERY SOON! I know the method . . . would only like the ingredients . . . thank you! Nadia

  6. Fun family events!! Going to have to google swedish pancakes! Hubby and I talked just the other day that we would love to have lighter suppers and that sounds like it fit the bill. Wondering here if they are they like German pancakes, so I’ll check that out. I’m thinking that they are closer to crepes than to the fluffy pancakes. Lovely pic of the two of you! Enjoy your trip to CA.

  7. Of course you’re welcome to any and all of my pics, Auntie! You’re way better at posting than I am these days, so I love that they’re being shared. 🙂 Love you…
