What are you doing?
I walked out to the garage this morning and I got a very distinct feel of fall in the air. Yikes is summer coming to a close so soon? I think I’ve decided that I am a lot fonder of the beginning of a season then the end of a season…
Since Dear has been on vacation this week I really haven’t made any plans. I just wait to see what he’s up to. We had an overnight at the beginning of his vacation to Eastern Washington but for the rest of the time we’ve just been hanging around the homestead. We spotted these animals in the East. I’m glad this guy was of the carved variety…
Have a wonderful day wherever you are and whatever you are doing!
Photobucket replaced all my photos with ugly black and grey boxes and they are holding my photos hostage until I pay them lots of money. I’m slowly going through all my posts and trying to clean them up and replacing some photos. Such a bother.
I am unsure if I would be more thankful that “THANK GOD this horrid heat of summer is over”…..or so excited that the heat would finally be broken….I mowed our weeds today…any grass not in the shade is crackly and filled with weeds (even though we apply all the steps of killers and fertilizers throughout the year). My hubby is working today so I’m going to sit in the Air Conditioned house this afternoon, watch an old movie from the 50’s and knit…..ahhhh. Hope your weekend is sweet!
I love that carved bear. How cool. YEAH!!! Fall is coming. It’s my favorite time of the year 🙂 WOOT!!! Great photos my friend. Have a wonderful weekend 🙂
Enjoy your quiet day! I loved the squirrel photo 🙂
Wow. I want to live near you so I can feel fall in the air. It is still incredibly hot and humid in our parts. Fall usually doesn’t arrive until mid-October. But I did spend the morning with several sisters in Christ learning about God’s Word and praying together. It was a precious time and we are excited for the re-invigoration that the time brought. Even though outside was still incredibly hot and humid. Hope your weekend has been sweet as well.
Cute pictures… especially that little squirrel. I can’t wait for the fall, but I am not too fond of the winter cold…
Hmmm, I think I noticed a little bit of early fall, too. This is MOST unusual, as our fall doesn’t start till the end of October, on a normal year. Love the quail…
that bear is QUITE the tombstone!! love it!!
remember, “every new beginning is some beginning’s end.”
I love that phrase…and the song it comes from!!
