We’ve had a couple dry days this week tucked between some very soggy ones. Saturday dawned dry and glorious.
My kids swung by to pick me up for the Sounders Soccer Game at Qwest field and the Blue and Green was proudly displayed everywhere. Some people go way out to show their colors. We had another record breaking crowd for MLS Soccer. Seattle is the best place to be if you are a soccer fan in the U.S.A.
Here I am with our son Josh and our DIL Laura after we stopped at the Taco truck for our Street tacos, 3 tacos for $5.00. It’s our traditional meal before the game. Oh good there’s no cilantro stuck in our teeth!
I was very happy that the Sounders shut out the New England Revolution 3-0 but another thing that made me very pleased was to finally meet Oliver face to face and to be able to hold him during the game. He slept the whole time grimacing when the crowds exploded in cheers. At the end of the game when I handed him back to his mom Bridget he woke up with a sweet smile for her.
He smiled while I held him, too.
Please visit Mary at Little Red House for Mosaic Monday and Smiling Sally for Blue Monday.
Photobucket replaced all my photos with ugly black and grey boxes and they are holding my photos hostage until I pay them lots of money. I’m slowly going through all my posts and trying to clean them up and replacing some photos. Such a bother.
Sweet little boy! (I got to hold Ellie in church today!)
If I lived there I would wear Sounder clothes…I LOVE blue and green. :o)
Oh! Sweet baby toes!!!
Oh, look at those soft toes! How cute!
A well attended game, and the sea of green and blue is amazing!
Wow, the guy with green hair and blue dots is neat, great mosaic. A very cute fellow, you must be so happy. Take care:)

He is a cutie and I love all the colors here. How fun to go there. Crud it’s close to summer isn’t it warm up there yet? LOL 🙂 Have a great week ahead 🙂
That looked like a lot of fun – especially the baby-holding part!
Hey, I am in Seattle too!! This is so cute. I would love for you to visit my blog. I am hosting a giveaway from CSN stores for a chance to win a $40 dollar gift card.
What a great time… and what a sweetie-pie baby! We had the most gorgeous weather here all weekend, we made the most of it working in the garden–muscles feeling it now… ouch… LOL! Happy new week, Ellen :o) ((HUGS))
Looks like a good time was had by one and all!!
Cute baby toes….how sweet he is! Looks like you had a fun time. Kathy
Is that a cast on Oliver’s leg? He is a sweet one, Ellen. I know how happy you were to have “at him” for such a long stretch. I’ll bet your arms were tired, though. Happy Blue Monday.
Yes, that is a cast Sally. They are correcting his club foot.
What a cute baby!!! I am glad you had a good time.
Between Oliver and the Sounders…and the weather…it was a win/win day!
The baby is precious! Never too early to learn about sports!
Sweet little baby boy. Being trained up already to be a Sounder’s fan? :v)

How nice to see your pretty face! And I love to watch soccer — especially after years of watching pee wee, travel and high school soccer… 🙂 Thanks for sharing these great mosaics, Ellen!
