Call me weird but I love hunting down Yard Art these days. Please visit Mary at Work of the Poet to join in the fun.
The mushrooms are in a yard in my neighborhood and the Owl was in Descanso Gardens in Southern California.
On Mother’s Day on our way home from brunch we stopped at this Flea Market/Antique store and I photographed these new beauties that haven’t found a home in a yard yet…
The weather has been just glorious here in the Northwest this week. Today on my way to my hair appointment in Seattle I hit the mother lode in yard art. I’ll be showing you that yard next week.Β Have a great day and thanks for stopping by…
Photobucket replaced all my photos with ugly black and grey boxes and they are holding my photos hostage until I pay them lots of money. I’m slowly going through all my posts and trying to clean them up and replacing some photos. Such a bother.
So you have a yen for yard art hunting? Can’t wait to see more. These are great.
I laughed at your mother lode in yard art statement – I simply cannot wait!!
Those mushrooms are cute. How is your little gnome doing?
Well Ellen, I guess I’m weird too! Since Mary started this I search everywhere I go.
I love the mushrooms – would like them for myself.
Living in the country the rooster sure would be cute along with that old door I see. π
You certainly found neat things. I can hardly wait to see what you found for next week.
I love the crazy items people have in their gardens! And I am sure those homeless ones at the market will be snapped up very quickly! A colourful collection!
ellen, watch for your photos in another Yard Art slideshow. That rooster is the most colorful! I also love the mushrooms! π
They are definitely colorful! That flea market looks fun.
I love those mushrooms. The rooster will be snapped up soon, I’m sure.
Maybe you will give the guy a home.
I’m looking forward to seeing that mother lode next week. π
I missed Yard Art last week (Blogger wouldn’t let me upload photos for a couple of days) but I thought I’d check out what you found. Neat stuff. I look forward to seeing you “mother lode.”
one of these days I’m gonna happen across the tackiest of all yard art…and I’m gonna mail it to YOU!!!
