It’s that time of the week again to travel to snowy Springy Alberta to visit Susanne at Living to Tell the Story and join in with your favorites from this past week.
Here’s Dear surveying his new wall… It should be finished today with a few more levels of block…
Here’s what added to my joy this week…
1. Getting the dreaded boxes from the attic project done. Whoohoo it feels great!
2. Having work done on our yard. Grading and a retaining wall. Work should be done today.
3. Enjoying pretty fancy tulips that only cost me $2.50.
4. Bringing some of the Apple Blossoms inside to enjoy.
5. Having a good meal fresh off the stove.
Psalm 63: 3-5
Because Your lovingkindness is better than life,
My lips will praise You.
So I will bless You as long as I live;
I will lift up my hands in Your name.
My soul is satisfied as with marrow and fatness,
And my mouth offers praises with joyful lips.
Have a great day and weekend everyone!
The apple blossoms still stun me with their beauty….
I love your apple blossom bouquet too, and wish I could smell their fragrance.
You’ve had such a productive week—and a delicious meal as a happy end of the day. Don’t you just love Spring?
I can so relate to the organizing. And what is it about guys and walls. LOL Thanks for stopping by. — Jane F.
Your organized boxes look great. I feel the same way as I just love it when things around me are organized too. My mind feels organized as well. The blossoms are gorgeous!
Great job on the boxes in the attic project. Your attic actually looks clean and inviting. =D Whether or not that’s the case, I don’t know, but the picture makes it look like a fun place.
Your retaining wall looks awesome!
Hope you have a great, relaxing weekend after accomplishing all that you have!
I love that retaining wall and I can see why hubby would want a tractor.
That’s quite a job sorting through all those boxes, but you always find so many new goodies and memories, in there, at least I do.
I love that Psalm you quoted, Ellen!
And I’m glad you had such a productive week! Enjoy your weekend!
Oh, what a happy week — accomplishments, flowers, good food, projects completed 🙂
I’m enjoying watching your work in progress. Their is no grass growing under your feet! Your place will in tip top shape by summer….or sooner. Your blog is so inviting to visit…..like a magazine. I love the green. The verse you shared today is one of my favorites. It will be on my mind today. Kathy
Those apple blossoms are gorgeous! As are the tulips.
Sounds like you had a great week of getting things done.
Love those verses!
Wow the work on that wall is really coming along! Your apple blossoms are gorgeous. Take a deep whiff of them for me 🙂
And now that you’re done of your attic how about giving me a hand with my basement?? After we finish the painting???
Happy weekend!
🙂
Your apple blossom bouquet is gorgeous! Love the photo collage (how do you guys do that?)
Kudos on getting the boxes done. Doesn’t it make you feel great to get a job like that done?
Thanks for sharing that scripture – I love that one!
Love the apple blossoms in the pink depression glass! Beautiful.
I can certainly relate to how it feels to get a project like your attic completed! Good for you.
The retaining wall looks great!
The psalm was once a favorie ‘chorus’ to sing at church….I’d forgotten it, thanks for reminding me!
Ellen! YOU will not believe this–but I was hunting up your website YESTERDAY! Gave up before I found it–because of time…and cooking supper called my name!
This is just like the LORD! He knew I wanted a visit with you and HE sent you my way!
As always, your photos are great and the verse strikes a familiar chord in my heart!
Yes, there have been many things happening with us. More work for Jeff at the Camp Grounds (with no more pay :), and I retired from the attorney’s offices! Sounds odd I know, but with Jeff’s work load increasing–and the call of the Lord on my heart to do more speaking and writing–I really felt it was time.
So, I will be sharing a few more details, one may have to wait until after Mother’s Day, since I don’t want my daughters to read it yet! 🙂
I so enjoy visiting here! I’m off to scroll down the rest of the page and read what you’ve been up to!
Blessings on you dear friend!
Boy that work sure is getting done quickly. 🙂 You had a great week. Thanks for sharing 🙂
The wall looks great! His lovingkindness is better than life. Loved the way you closed your post.
Happy weekend.
Those apple blossoms are very pretty. I love your pictures, its so much more fun to understand your week when we can see the pictures 🙂
Hope your wall gets done!
That sounds like a productive week, Ellen! Your wall is looking very good.
That wall is looking great. I can’t believe it ‘s going up so quickly!
The apple blossoms are so lovely! I can hardly wait for them to bloom out here.
I’m only a little envious of your organizing being finished but I’m a lot envious of how much storage room you have!
The retaining wall looks great 🙂
Glad you made it back up the trail. Enjoy the Sounders game!
Wonderful list and photos! Your retaining wall looks great and your attic looks so organized.
Have a blessed weekend!
I couldn’t quite figure out what the project was but now I see why you did need a retaining wall. And it’s a nice one.
Job well done in the attic!! And what a nice retaining wall. The plantings will be so pretty next to it. What fine accomplishments.
