Ruby Tuesday ~ Downtown Seattle…

Welcome to Ruby Tuesday. Please visit Mary at Work of the Poet to see more Ruby from around the world.

My shot this week was taken in downtown Seattle in Pioneer Square. I thought the old neon sign advertising  75 cent rooms was fabulous and how great that the building was built with Ruby bricks, too.

Photobucket is holding all my photos that I stored on their site from 2007-2015 hostage replacing them with ugly grey and black boxes and asking for a large ransom to retrieve them. It is a slow process to go through all my posts deleting the ugly boxes.

  1. 75 cents? So what does the owner say when someone comes in and asks for a room at that price? Wonderful architectural details. Such texture.

  2. It is a fabulous sign. Even if accounting for inflation today since 1913, the price today would be about $19.00 – quite inexpensive. Would I want to stay there? Probably if my room was under that stylish arch!
