Welcome to Ruby Tuesday. Please visit Mary at Work of the Poet to see more Ruby from around the world.
My shot this week was taken in downtown Seattle in Pioneer Square. I thought the old neon sign advertising 75 cent rooms was fabulous and how great that the building was built with Ruby bricks, too.
Photobucket is holding all my photos that I stored on their site from 2007-2015 hostage replacing them with ugly grey and black boxes and asking for a large ransom to retrieve them. It is a slow process to go through all my posts deleting the ugly boxes.
Ooo I’ve seen that. Great photo my friend 🙂
Wow? How big is the room? This week I have Wild “Ruby Tuesday” Flowers; they’re protected according to law.
Interesting contrast between the bright light and the subdued wall.
75 cents? So what does the owner say when someone comes in and asks for a room at that price? Wonderful architectural details. Such texture.
I love the details on that old building. Nice price!
What a great old building…LOVE that they left the sign.
It is a fabulous sign. Even if accounting for inflation today since 1913, the price today would be about $19.00 – quite inexpensive. Would I want to stay there? Probably if my room was under that stylish arch!
Great photo! Unbelievable price. 🙂
D
Cute – love the facade of that building.
Yikes! When would that have been? How things have changed.
Nice old building though.
75 cents! ha! Happy Ruby Tuesday!
Great shot !!! fantastic hotel rates 🙂
