Family Blues…

On Sunday I drove across Los Angeles to my sister’s house for a family gathering in honor of Avery and Jackson’sĀ  grandparent’s from Michigan. Avery is my sister Kathy’s granddaughter and Jackson is Avery’s big brother. Jackson and Avery’s grandparents flew out to meet Avery and spend some time with both of them.

Is there any doubt that this is Avery’s father… Look at the shape of their eyes…

The great grandparents (my parents) were also there to enjoy the festivities.

My sister Kathy with Avery(Jackson and Avery’s nana), my sister Vera, MLou (Avery and Jackson’s grandmother from Michigan), and Ellen b.

It was so much fun to finally meet MLou in person. We have interacted with each other for a long time via my blog and Facebook.

Photobucket is holding all my photos that I stored on their site from 2007-2015 hostage replacing them with ugly grey and black boxes and asking for a large ransom to retrieve them. It is a slow process to go through all my posts deleting the ugly boxes.

  1. Thanks for sharing this special time with your family with us. All the pictures are very good. You have a great looking family, but the baby takes the cake. So precious.

  2. HI Ellen! Oh, that little Avery is a precious little thing! It’s so nice to meet your dear family! I can tell by the smiles everyone was in hog heaven!
    Be a sweetie,

  3. If there is possibly one thing I enjoy more than your ocean pictures, it’s pictures of this darling little thing… does she have red hair? Years ago I cared for the most beautiful little girl with the most luscious red curls, and I’ve always had a soft spot for red haired babies ever since.

Thanks so much for sharing, dear.
