24 Years Ago Today…

Katie surprised us with an early entry into this world…

Dear and I were so surprised to get our little girl after our two boys. Katie has added a wonderful dimension to our family and we thank God for her.

For her birthday bash this year some long time friends and family went to see the new Sherlock Holmes movie and then came back to our house for a meal and evening of fun.

I do believe the festivities have come to an end around our house for a few days. Today I put away most of the Christmas decorations and got rid of our very dry tree. It feels good. Enjoy the last week of 2009 everyone!!

Photobucket is holding all my photos that I stored on their site from 2007-2015 hostage replacing them with ugly grey and black boxes and asking for a large ransom to retrieve them. It is a slow process to go through all my posts deleting the ugly boxes.

  1. Hau`oli La Hanau Katie. I hope you had a wonderful day my friend. Great photos. How was the movie? That’s the one with Johnny Depp? I really like him. Great actor. 🙂

    • Thanks! The movie was the one with Robert Downey Jr. and Jude Law, it was too fun, I really liked the interpretation of Sherlock Holmes and the way they portrayed his ingenious mind….though the movie was just a touch too long. It could have been wrapped up just a little bit quicker, but still good. Action scenes were awesome and there were some great one-liners.

Johnny Depp is one of my faves too and he’s in Alice in Wonderland, which I can’t wait to see. 🙂

  2. Happy Birthday, Katie! It looks like a fun celebration was had by all.

We also had two sons first…then a daughter…who arrived earlier than expected as well.

Ellen, you seem in such a rush to pack away all things Christmas. I’m planning to leave everything in place until the new year. I was a little slow in decorating…now I’ll be a little tardy in dsimantling.
