Through Sunshine After Rain…

My friend Beth and I walked along the Sammamish River Wednesday morning after a rainy blustery night and before a rainy blustery afternoon and evening. We felt blessed to have this window of time to walk in the sun and enjoy some remaining fall color while catching up a bit on our lives. The sun cast some beautiful reflections on the water. God truly has created wonderful things for us to see and enjoy.

Photobucket is holding all my photos that I stored on their site from 2007-2015 hostage replacing them with ugly grey and black boxes and asking for a large ransom to retrieve them. It is a slow process to go through all my posts deleting the ugly boxes.

About Ellen am a wife, mother, baba (grandmother) and a loyal friend. Jesus is my King and my hope is in my future with Him.

  1. Even though I disagree with your Christian viewpoint, I still enjoy a walk in the country. I hope you will become more Christian by adopting the ‘real’ beliefs.

    • Hi Mary, I’m confused by your comment. I don’t know how I can become more Christian without my Christian viewpoint. God created me in His image, God is real and the creator of all things including you and me, Christ came to earth, lived a perfect life, and died on the cross so that anyone who believes in Him will be saved. Christ is God. Christianity is all about Christ. I am a Christian because I am one with Christ, Christ abides in me, Christ leads me and indwells me. That’s what makes me a Christian. I have Christ in me already…I can’t become more Christian. I’m totally Christian since I accepted what Christ did for me on the cross. Those are all real Christian beliefs based on the Truth of what the Bible teaches. One God, One faith, one baptism. Being Christian can’t be anything else but a oneness with Christ living and abiding with Him…

      • So come to find out this comment didn’t come from a fellow blogger but from someone who hacked her blog and made this comment. So sorry that happened to you Mary but it did give me a chance to speak up for my beliefs and for that I’m grateful.

  2. Beautiful…I’m so thankful I found your site…you stirred so much awake in me after some serious burn out….because of all you have shared I look around my world so differently…thanks Ellen….glad God chose to reveal to you and me that we need Him….not all have received that gift….oh the choices we make to fill what ONLY God can fill.

  3. Hi Ellen. I’m glad you are finding moments in between the storms to enjoy walks in sunshine and all the glorious beauty to be found in this wonderful creation our God has made.
