Counting Down to Saturday…

I love this view that we had on our early morning walk this past Saturday. The sky looks painted don’t you think? This coming Saturday I fly to Seattle and will be at our home there until the New Year. I’ll miss our early morning walks here in Southern California with Dear and with Willow. Dear will join me there over Thanksgiving and then have an extended vacation during Christmas in Seattle, too. I have projects to complete that require some extended time there for me. My countdown here includes projects that need to get done before I fly away on Saturday. On Tuesday I’m headed to my mom and dad’s for a meal with the girls in the family, sisters and nieces and a nephew or two. It will be hit and miss with me and the blog till I get my Seattle legs. In the meantime I’ll be praying for God’s blessings on my bloggy friends…

Where’s ellen b.? ~ She flew the coop!

Just wanted to share one last image of our first born Josh with his beautiful wife Laura at a good friend’s wedding this past Friday. Laura was in the wedding.

I stole it without asking right off of facebook!!

Photobucket is holding all my photos that I stored on their site from 2007-2015 hostage replacing them with ugly grey and black boxes and asking for a large ransom to retrieve them. It is a slow process to go through all my posts deleting the ugly boxes.

About Ellenhttp://I am a wife, mother, baba (grandmother) and a loyal friend. Jesus is my King and my hope is in my future with Him.

  1. That sky does look painted! Have a safe trip up North and a nice visit with your folks!! Willow will be there when you get back! My walking partner had foot surgery….it’s not a good thing for me!

  2. Love that second pic, Ellen… how did you get so close to the gulls in the air? The third one is real nice too, sweet! And… umm… heading north for the winter? Guess Seattle is still milder than what we have here in Alberta. Anyway, have a great time and a warm winter in your Seattle home!

  3. Oh Ellen B.,
You’ve resorted to stealing? You must be living on the edge…LOL!!
I hope you have a wonderful time in Seattle. It was so beautiful when I was there that I think I may be a wee bit green with envy ;-).

    Have a very blessed day!!!

    xoxo Cori G.

  4. What a great looking, happy couple. Way to go!
And your sweet tea service but the oh my factor for me was on the little tea towel with the crocheted Southern Belle in the corner. Would like to see a closer shot of her.
Thanks for stopping by and come again soon.
    Blessings 😉
