North and South…

We left our home in Washington Sunday at 5:15 A.M. and made it to our Condo in Southern California at 11:30 P.M. This photo was taken in Southern Washington before we crossed the border into Oregon.

Today I’m unpacking and trying to get organized for the week. We have our daughter and her boyfriend here, too. I’m dodging 2 extra inflatable beds on the floor in the living area and our bedroom. Ben and Katie are busy and away each day doing all the dizzy parks. I’ll have a couple days of floor space this week while they stay with our nieces in Orange County. Wednesday is family day at the “Happiest Place on Earth”. A lot of us are meeting up to spend the day together and see Miss Hope in action.

Hope everyone’s week is going well…

Photobucket is holding all my photos that I stored on their site from 2007-2015 hostage replacing them with ugly grey and black boxes and asking for a large ransom to retrieve them. It is a slow process to go through all my posts deleting the ugly boxes.

  1. You are back to S.C. and it sounds like you have a few busy days ahead! I drove through Bellevue on my way up to Camano last Tuesday, I thought of you! I even called Willow and told her where I was! She had just talked with you earlier. I have fond memories of that area….nothing new! There isn’t any shortage of new building going on! And, that big Microsoft building makes a statement, while wizzing by on the freeway!!
Have a good week….and a fun day at Dland!

  2. Hey Ellen B.,
Welcome back to California!! It sounds like you have an extremely busy week ahead of you, but fun!!
Hey, I’m going to the Happiest Place on Earth this week too!!! This is the first week I’ve been able to get in in months…stupid pass!!!!!

I hope you have a great time.

    🙂 Cori G.

  3. Welcome back.
I know and (don’t) love that drive. Done it in two days and done it in one. It is beautiful, BUT.
Call when you’re rested. I need to walk.

  4. We used to drive straight thru to Florida …. I know the feeling. I always felt like a truck had run over me! Glad you made it safely.

  5. You must be running on mixed emotions. Leaving the kids again, but going back to another home and friends and of course Willow…
It will be so much fun to catch up and go walking again.

  6. Bill’s brother and sil drove from here to their home in Arizona yesterday and his parents drove to Orange County. I 5 was a busy place I think. Your drive wins the prize! I’m in company recovery mode.
