I’m doing a double header for Tuesday since we’re in Baseball Season. My 2nd Time Around with Diane from A Picture is Worth a Thousand Words and Three or More with Tam at The Gypsy’s Corner comes from one of my favorite things to do…Thrift Store Shop!
I bought these fun Tea Towels for 50 cents each from a Thrift Store in Ventura, California a couple weeks ago, 6 or $3.00!
Click on either name above to see more 2nd Time Around or Three or More!
Photobucket is holding all my photos that I stored on their site from 2007-2015 hostage replacing them with ugly grey and black boxes and asking for a large ransom to retrieve them. It is a slow process to go through all my posts deleting the ugly boxes.
Hi Ellen,
I love those tea towels. And you got them for a great price. Thanks so much for linking to 2nd Time Around!
A great find Ellen. I have heard about the rough baseball schedules. I hope you have great weather.
What a fun set of towels! Aren’t thrift stores the greatest?

Those tea towels are so sweet!

Oh memories of my grandmother’s t-towels.
I love embroidered towels. They remind me of the beautiful work that my Grandmother used to do. Just lovely!

Now that’s a terrific find. I love using old linens to dress up a room. Stop by and see my Second Time Around item. While your there, take a look around. If you like what you see, don’t forget to go to the right column and hit the “Follow” button so that you can be updated on many new and creative ideas.
They’re so pretty – I would have snatched them up as well. They’re a gentle reminder of simpler times.
Thank you for sharing Ellen – I always enjoy reading your blog.
How can I follow? Is there a button I’m not seeing?
Lisa
Those are cute! Great deal, too!
Cute tea towels and I like the price.

These towels are fantastic! What a great find!
They are so cute – the pitcher is my favorite.
Good Job!
I looove to thrift shop, but sometimes I get home and wonder what I was thinking when I bought something.
You purchases are perfect!
Great find! Great deal! I love them. Thanks for sharing.
They are adorable! I love thrift shop finds, and I also love getting and using old embroidered linens. Part of me is sorry for whoever did the handwork, that it ended up in the possession of a stranger, but mostly I am happy to give a good home to beautifully wrought embroideries and lovely linens.
Love your tea towels…especially the owl. Owls are a special love of mine.
Best wishes … Cass
Ellen,
These are just so cute! I don’t know how people who can do needlework can give up their creations (unless it is a gift) after all of that hard work. Please tell me you aren’t going to use them!!!
xoxo

HOW CUTE!!!!
They are very cute! What a great find 🙂
I just hate to think that someone worked so hard on them…and then they’re sold for just $3. all that work is worth so very much more.
glad that you’ll appreciate them.
A great find and price. My fav is the jug tea towel.
