ABC’s of the Word ~ Mustard Seed

The kingdom of heaven is like a grain of mustard seed that a man took and sowed in his field. It is the smallest of all seeds, but when it has grown it is larger than all the garden plants and becomes a tree, so that the birds of the air come and make nests in its branches. Matthew 13:31-32 (ESV)

  1. Beautiful fields…wonderful choice…MUSTARD seed! (I couldn’t wait until Pam posted the Linky.) I wanted to catch your WFW & ABC in one visit!
Another gorgeous shot and wonderful WORD! I love the parables through which Jesus taught kingdom principles! May our Faith move mountains! Nothing is impossible in Him!
“Because of the littleness of your faith; for truly I say to you, if you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible to you.” Matthew 17:20

Thanks Ellen for blessing me and may you be blessed!

  2. I went to a church called the Mustard Seed in college. It was always a constant reminder to me of how tiny that was yet how LARGE He could grow my faith and any effort of mine for His kingdom. Blessings of His best Ellen!

  3. Such a pretty picture. Do you remember the little necklaces that were so popular 20 years ago, with the mustard seed in them? I’m always reminded of those necklaces when I read this scripture and how tiny that little seed is…and how little faith is actually needed. God will do the rest as long as we believe!

Have a lovely day Ellen B.!!!

    🙂 Cori G.
