Should I stay or should I go…

So this is part of the beautiful resort in Cancun we are suppose to be at this weekend for our niece’s wedding…Cancun, Mexico. We are praying and consulting before making a final decision on whether we will be cancelling our travel plans. We are praying for the young couple who have to make the decision to carry on with the plans or cancel the event that has been planned for so long. Praying for wisdom and comfort in the decisions and praying about disappointments and concerns…

Also praying that the State Department and CDC get good information and give out good advice in regards to the Swine Flu and travel.

Photobucket is holding all my photos that I stored on their site from 2007-2015 hostage replacing them with ugly grey and black boxes and asking for a large ransom to retrieve them. It is a slow process to go through all my posts deleting the ugly boxes.

  1. Ellen, we were just talking about this. . wondering if any of our friends were still headed to Mexico. I said. .it is getting later in spring and now there will be lots of honeymoons and weddings. . .and here you are. . my friend.
I’ll sure pray for you and the ones you care about. Personally, I feel that the biggest threat is in Mexico city. . .stay outside by the beach and don’t go into town. . and you’ll be fine. I’d go. . . .

  2. Beautiful, but don’t do it! If it’s not the swine flu it’ll be gorilla’s with machine guns. How sad for your niece! It looks like such a beautiful place to get married, but a wedding is only one day out of your entire marriage. Still it’s difficult to let go of dreams.

I’ll keep you all in my prayers.

    🙂 Cori G.

  3. I’m sure you’ll see this….The federal government is preparing a travel advisory instructing Americans to avoid nonessential travel to Mexico, the acting head of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said Monday.
