Pink Saturday ~

Welcome to Pink Saturday hosted by Beverly at How Sweet the Sound.

One of the blessings of living in Southern California is that roses are still blooming in the winter. I took this photo on one of my walks with Willow in Southern California in January.

This next collage is a tease. I bought some thrift store items this week that I’m going to use for a completely different purpose than they were intended for. I will show you in the future what that purpose was and how I used them. Dear and I are off for an overnight getaway to Pismo Beach, California tomorrow and I hope to find some pink to post for next week and a “show and tell” on what I do with these purchases. Have a wonderful Pink Saturday everyone.

To see more Pink visit Beverly at How Sweet the Sound!

Photobucket is holding all my photos from 2007 to 2015 hostage and has replaced them all with ugly black and grey boxes asking for a ransom to have them re-published. Such a frustrating bother as I go through each post to delete the ugly boxes.

  1. Happy Pink Saturday, Ellen. I hope you are having a wonderful time.

That rose bloom is exquisite, and I can hardly wait to see what you did with all of these scrumptious goodies.

  2. I’m going to have to plant some roses like that one in my garden this spring. Can’t wait to see what you do with those goodies in the collage!

  3. I actually have some roses blooming because it’s been so warm this week! I have to get out there and prune!

I’ll be waiting to see what you do with these new treasures, you tease.

Hope Pismo Beach is full of photo opps.

Tim Bog is our overnight guest this weekend, as he has a training clinic in Sacramento. It is good to see him.

    Happy weekend.

  5. Oh!! Lucky, lucky you!! Pismo is one of my favorite places. Do you ever go over to Arroyo Grande and snoop through the antique shops? I’m gonna go right now and whine at my hubby that I need a trip to Pismo too! I really need a bowl of clam chowder at Splash Cafe….I’m so jealous!! LOL
    I hope you’re having a wonderful weekend.
