Welcome to Ruby Tuesday hosted by Mary at Work of the Poet.
This week I’m still in sign mode. My sign today is taken in the evening at one of the Mexican Restaurants we frequent in town. We are part of their Jalapeno Club so we get a 10% discount.

Photobucket is holding all my photos from 2007 to 2015 hostage and has replaced them all with ugly black and grey boxes asking for a ransom to have them re-published. Such a frustrating bother as I go through each post to delete the ugly boxes.
I gather from the sign, el tecolote is synonym for owl, but what is jalapeno club?
There are things I know less than nothing about.
Nice night mode.

A late night cantina it seems. The neon night owl perched on the top of the sign. Is he the bird of prey that makes one duck into the restaurant to avoid becoming the bird’s meal…and ordering instead? I love that sign…too bad it’s 2600 miles from New Haven!
From the sign and logo of this place, it looks like a great place for a night out in town 🙂
I take it you like spicy hot food. 😉 Nice shot of the sign. You must have steady hands,
Neon signs are so much fun. Isn’t this one of your favorite restaurants?
A very unique sign and very worth having photographed!
Happy Ruby Tuesday!
I feel so bad that I wasn’t able to photograph some red signs… anyway, this one is cool.. I love neon signs, too.
My RT post is here if you want to visit it. I’d be glad if you do. Thanks!
What a neat sign! I love neon too.
A superb night shot Ellen!
I have to practice those – this is wonderful.
Glad you stopped to take this photo. Well worth sharing. I love the idea of a Jalapeno club! Burp! And Happy Ruby Tuesday!
Great photo!!
Hmm … a Jalapeno Club sounds like something I’d love too. Great sign! I don’t feel so badly about starting out with a sign in my Ruby Tuesday post today because I’ve happened upon several this morning as I visit ;–)
Hugs and blessings,
You and Mojo are slaying me with all these stories of great Mexican food! I may have to make my own tonight since I can’t go out for it!
is that where all the night owls go 😉
What a cool sign! Great photo!
The photo makes me want to hear more about the place.
