Lots of favorites this week for ellen b. From the top collage…
1. I was able to finally see St. Johns Seminary in Camarillo when invited to a Christmas Music Program there. I’ll post more photos in the future of the beautiful church and grounds. The grounds are private and not open to the Public very often.
2. I met my beautiful niece Annie at a great British Pub in Fullerton, California for lunch. We don’t see each other often and it was nice to catch up. The Old Ship British Pub was great, too. They have authentic British food and ale in British Pints. I want to go back and have some Sticky Toffee Pudding.
3. That’s Willow taking her life in her hands to get a photo of the snow on our California Mountains on our walk yesterday. Bloggers taking photos no matter what the cost is a favorite of mine during any week!
4. Yippee, I get to see these three this very day! My brother Leonard, his wife Mandy, and Miss Hope, their almost 1 year old daughter, my niece. They are here in Southern California from Dallas until Christmas day. I’m spending the day and then spending the night in Huntington Beach because tomorrow is the big family cooking day. We are making Vareniki for our Christmas Eve celebration. I want to kiss Miss Hope’s sweet cheeks!!
5. Snow! Hearing about the snow at my home in Washington and seeing the snow on the mountains in Southern California!
To see more Fave Fives or to join in visit our fabulous hostess Susanne at Living to Tell the Story.
Photobucket is holding all my photos from 2007 to 2015 hostage and has replaced them all with ugly black and grey boxes asking for a ransom to have them re-published. Such a frustrating bother as I go through each post to delete the ugly boxes.
what a cutie putie—I bet you know which picture I mean. Woke up this morning and most of our snow disappeared with our thunderstorm last night. have a grand day with Him Ellen. Thanks for sharing your fun!

Ah, the pub looks properly decked out! I’ve never been there during Christmastime… perhaps it’s time to do so! I like the pic of Willow taking a photo — sort of a “makings of” for Willow’s blog 🙂
Willow is a brave woman! LOL.
Your baby niece is adorable. And how nice you got to catch up with your beautiful grown up niece. I love how close knit your family is, Ellen!
Hey! Be careful Willow! What we’ll do for blogging 🙂
How lovely to have a visit with family.
I didn’t have time for the 5 this week – roots were a priority 🙂
Great photos and post! I am from Huntington Beach and my all my family still lives there. I hope you enjoy your time there 😉 Thanks for visiting my blog!
Thanks for stopping in on my blog! You have such a beautiful family and you make wonderful pictures. I have several relatives in California but have not been there since I was a child (not counting spending the night in a hotel in San Fran. one night on the way to Hawaii when flight was delayed).
From our family in Arkansas to yours in California/Washington….Merry Christmas! Blessings!
Oh, I can’t wait to see more pictures of Miss Hope!!! 🙂 Have a grand time with your family.
Weekend blessings!
I love seeing pictures of California because that is where I am from. I went to 9th grade in Fullerton.

Thanks for stopping by. The baby is so-o-o-o-o-o cute !! Well and so are the mom and dad LOL.
I scrolled all the way down your blog and wow I love those big houses, fantastic !
Ahha…it’s the great Russian “hen” day!! I bet Miss Hope will have her first touch of making those wonderful Vareniki….lots of love and laughter! Hello to all
You have got me curious as to what you all are cooking on family cooking day. Is this a tradition you have? You will have to tell us all about that. Your little niece is so cute! There was some snow in the higher elevations in the wine country this week. But it did not stay long. Made for a pretty drive to work. Unfortunately I did not have my camera with me. Shame on me!
I’m laughing at my picture! Yep, I’ll do most anything for a photo!
