This week I’m showing my Dresser Mirror that I saved before it was sent away with a Christmas themed arrangement I placed on the added shelf on the bottom of the mirror. My husband added the shelf to it before we hung it on the wall. If you saw my Blue Monday or Tablescape Tuesday you’ll see a lot of the items from my Blue Christmas table re-grouped here. This will serve as my Christmas mantle at the condo.
The gold pieces are ornaments for the tree as is the Santa. The Pewter creamers are filled with Christmas Sprays in blue and crystal and silver. Here’s a collage with closeups of the items on the shelf. Now just so y’all know we at our house know that Santa is pretend and we love him in a pretend way but above that we know Jesus is real and saves us from what we deserve and then gives us our Hope and our future. We love Him in a real way…

Photobucket is holding all my photos from 2007-2015 hostage and demanding a ransom for me to access them. I’m slowly cleaning up many of my posts where PB have added ugly black and grey boxes where my photos used to be. So frustrating!

Oh, it is beautiful! I am so glad you kept and found so many wonderful uses for it. Your husband has to be a dear to put the shelf on to display all your beauties.

Your mirror is beautiful. I have a friend who did something similar. She took a dresser mirror with shelves on each side and painted the wood gold. Very bold, but amazingly beautiful when decorated with candles and greenery. She placed it in her living room and it was quite stunning.

I have 3 or 4 dresser mirrors I was just waiting for inspiration on ,you have just inspired me,I have open plan living room with no real hallway no floor room for a table or stand ,but have always wanted one to drop keys etc on ,when my husband comes in (he is forever losing his keys) I believe I will steal your idea but add a small draw underneath the shelf for hubby’s keys.

I just saw your beautiful mirror. I have one very similar. Exactly how did you attach it to the wall? I have the perfect spot…..just not sure how to hang it! Thank you in advance for any advice!! Linda
Linda, my husband attached a wire, similar to what you see on large art pieces across the back fastened to each side of the mirror. Then we used a picture hanger on the wall to slide the wire over to secure it. I hope that makes sense.
