Okay! I know I’m jumping the gun because Thanksgiving in the U.S.A. has not happened yet but I was stuck for pink this week and decided to show you these wonderful pink poinsettias. I took these photos at Molbaks Nursery in Woodinville, Washington. It’s a nursery that is a great destination any time of the year. At Christmas they have a huge variety of poinsettias and sections and sections of Christmas ornaments and decorations. A lot of people come to Molbaks to take their family Christmas photo.
For more Pink Saturday visit our Hostess Beverly at How Sweet the Sound.
Photobucket is holding all my photos from 2007-2015 hostage and demanding a ransom for me to access them. I’m slowly cleaning up many of my posts where PB have added ugly black and grey boxes where my photos used to be. So frustrating!
Hi Ellen,
Those pink poinsettas are beautiful!
Have a great day,
Diane
Good morning Ellen B.,
This looks like a wonderful place to visit…don’t you just love pink poinsettias and have you been to Roger’s Gardens in Costa Mesa? Corona Dal Mar? I don’t remember which city its in, but it sounds a lot like Molbaks. Maybe I’ll head there this afternoon while hubby’s out flying.
About my cook book…6 recipes per day. That way I’m not on overload.
Have a fun day and I hope its’ PINK!
🙂 Cori G.
Oh, I used to go to Molbak’s all the time, I know just what you mean about how people come there! they have wonderful displays, but what I really love are the greenhouses with all the plants – just like your photo!
Poinsettias are lovely – I really like the unusually colored ones like PINK.
Cori – I will look up Roger’s Gardens in Costa Mesa – thats not too far from me.
happy Pink Saturday, ladies!
oooo, I’m going to get pink ones this year instead of the same ole red…these are just beautiful….
Thanks for taking part in this Pink Sat.
love, bj
You showed pointetties growing at the side of the road in a previous post. If these beauties grew wild in Southern CA I would be really jealous.
Lovely poinsettias! A perfect pink Saturday post! Have a blessed weekend, Ellen!
Molbak’s 🙂 I think I will have to go there today after I pick up my wine. The new selection is in.
I adore pink poinsettias! Happy Pink Saturday! ENJOY your day! Fifi
Beautiful poinsettias, Ellen. I wonder if these hot house beauties would survive outside on the road side down here. That would make a glorious display.
I love pointsettas! I would decorate the whole house in them at Christmas if I could.
Don’t you just love poinsettias? I love them all, but pink is my favorite!
Have a perfectly pink weekend…Kathy
Oh, Ellen, they are lovely! Thanks for taking us to see them.
Dear Ellen, first the pictures of the beach are stunning. I loved viewing such beauty. Then the pink poinsettias are so pretty. A great idea for pink Saturday this time of year. I always buy red but frankly this year I am not buying any. We can’t keep them outside because of the cold weather and when Christmas is over they really do not like being inside. Dropping blooms etc.
I did solve my computer problem. My dh cleared my cache and it worked. It was my computer causing the problem. LOL.
Have a great weekend. Oh, I want to go to Ireland too.
Hugs..Jeanne
The pink ones are just beautiful. I like them more than the red flowers. Your photos above of the beach are simply wonderful. Happy Pink Saturday and have a lovely Thanksgiving.
The pink poinsettias are so striking in such a large volume!
Ellen, thank you so much for giving me some welcomed thoughts of my dad. He just loved poinsetias. He had plastic ones in a vase that he had all year round…Mom wasn’t to happy, but she let him have them. Loved your beach photos…I just love the beach. Happy Pinkness
